Revitalizing Kenya one tree at a time
Growing trees for a sustainable future.
SUSTAINABLE CHANGE CAN ONLY BE MADE IF TOMORROW’S GENERATION IS INVOLVED AND INSPIRED TO TAKE ACTION TODAY.
“Revitalizing Kenya one tree at a time” is a school tree planting initiative driven by Revitalize Homes & Gardens, that was started in Kenya on the 9th of May 2023. The initiative aims to transform school grounds into leafy green oases for both the children of today and for future generations.
Our initiative is an inclusive engagement of the whole school community as teachers and support staff also partake in planting a tree as well.
We are a tree growing ground handling company whose main aim is to provide a professional service to companies and other organizations that want to spend their CSR budgets in a sustainable way and maximize their returns for climate change mitigation.
OUR WORK IN SCHOOLS IS DELIVERY -FOCUSED AND INVOLVES TRANSFORMING SCHOOL GROUNDS INTO GREENER AND HEALTHIER PLACES TO BE.
We teach the learners about the importance of trees and the numerous benefits that they provide. The learners each plant their own tree, water it and pray for it to grow big and strong. They are then reminded to check on their tree every few days. This starts their journey of forming a beautiful and lasting connection to their tree.
Other benefits to learners include:
1) giving them a sense of ownership and power.
2) they take an active role in making the future cleaner and more sustainable.
3) by seeing how the trees they planted grow and change over time, learners feel a strong link to nature and a sense of pride in what they have done.
4) This sense of ownership makes them want to protect the earth for the rest of their lives.

TREE PLANTING WITH A DIFFERENCE
Our tree planting initiatives in Kenya involve school children in a meaningful way. When you contribute, a student adopts and cares for a tree, ensuring its growth throughout their time at school.
Upon graduation, the tree is passed to another student, ensuring continuous care.
This approach greatly improves tree survival rates due to the dedicated attention from students.
